Competition Rules Terms and Conditions

1. These terms and conditions are the Competition Rules (‘’Rules’’) and apply to competitions on the Horse of the Year Show ‘’Site’’ www.hoys.co.uk (‘’Competition’’), unless otherwise expressly stated. By entering a Competition, entrants agree to be bound by these rules.
2. The Competition is organised by Grandstand Media Ltd of 7 Waterside, Station Road, Harpenden, Hertfordshire AL5 4US.
3. All entries must be received by the close of business on 31st May 2012.
4. Grandstand reserve the right to cancel or amend the Competition or Rules without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside Grandstand’s reasonable control. Any changes will be posted within these terms and conditions. A copy of the Rules may also be obtained by sending SAE to: Competition Rules, Grandstand, 7 Waterside, Station Road, Harpenden, Hertfordshire, AL5 4US.
5. In the event of any dispute regarding the Rules, conduct, results and all other matters relating to a Competition, the decision of Grandstand shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
6. Competitions are not open to employees of Grandstand Media Ltd, their families, agencies, individual or otherwise any other company associated with the specific Competition.
7. By entering a Competition, you hereby warrant that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete. Grandstand reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants.
8. Grandstand reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of the Rules.
9. The prize winner will be chosen by independent judges from all qualifying Entries within 30 days of the closing date. The decision of the judge and Grandstand shall be final and no correspondence shall be entered into.
10. The Prize winners will be notified by post, email or phone on or before the 30th June 2012.
11. There is ONE prize consisting of one each of Dodson & Horrell Performance Vitamins & Minerals (3.5kg), Dodson & Horrell Hoof Support (1.5kg), Dodson & Horrell Digestive Support (1.5kg) and Dodson & Horrell Joint Support (1.5kg). Prizes are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. Grandstand reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value at any time.
12. All entrants under the age of 18 must have the permission of a parent/guardian.
13. Your Entry and any information submitted by you must be personal to and relate specifically to you.
14. Grandstand cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant entering the Competition or as a result of accepting any prize.
15. Any personal data relating to entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the individual’s prior consent. Please see Grandstand’s privacy policy for further details. Data relating to entrants will be retained by Grandstand for a reasonable period after the Competition closes to assist Grandstand to operate competitions in a consistent manner and to deal with any queries on the Competition.
16. Only one entry per person. Late, incomplete, or corrupt entries will not be accepted. No responsibility can be accepted for lost entries.
17. The winner(s) may be required to take part in publicity.
18. English law applies and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts shall prevail.
